Are these activities safe? Yes—we take safety seriously, and as the longest provider in the area, our directors train other centres’ instructors, you’re in great hands. All risks within our control have been assessed and minimised, but no activity is completely risk-free. Sessions take place in the sheltered waters of Newquay Harbour, with full safety briefings and experienced instructors.

What should I wear? We suggest wearing comfortable swimwear under your clothes to make getting changed easy, and water shoes or trainers you don’t mind getting wet for your own comfort. All equipment and instructors are included in our activities so that we will provide you with a winter wetsuit, buoyancy aid, and helmet.

Can children take part? Yes—children aged 5+ are welcome. An adult must accompany children aged 5-11.

Do you hire out Dog Watersports Equipment? Yes, we do hire Dog watersports equipment from our centre in Newquay Harbour. For experienced paddlers only, we rent kayaks, Paddleboards, and Dog Buoyancy aids for dog and owner use. Dog Watersports Hire – Book online here.

General information about our Dog-Friendly Adventures & Activities in Newquay

What to expect:

• All Equipment included – Winter Wetsuit / Buoyancy Aid / Dog Buoyancy Aid / Helmet / Board or Kayak/ Paddle.
• Fully Qualified Expert Instructor as your guide and leader.
• The activity lasts 1.5/ 2 hours, so you’ll be with us for 2-2.5 hours of your day.
• All activities run daily.
• Beach & ocean Safety / Warm Up & Practice / Flat water (INTRO/PRIVATE) / Lesson Review.
• Free Snaps – Or we can organise a professional photographer or videographer to capture your lesson or experience. This can be arranged in advance at the time of booking with our in-house team for a small charge.
